Remembering today

Now, we have inscribed a new memory alongside those others. It’s a memory of tragedy and shock, of loss and mourning. But not only of loss and mourning. It’s also a memory of bravery and self-sacrifice, and the love that lays down its life for a friend–even a friend whose name it never knew.“
- President George W. Bush, December 11, 2001

  1. Most of the time I spend today curled in a fetal position. It was by far the scariest day of my life. It hard to forget the smell and the sounds. But I'm making new memories now. Ill never forget what happened 7 years ago today but hopefully the ptsd will get less and less each year. I hope my kids will never have to experience what I did that day but Im not sure that will happpen.

  2. God Bless our troops who are still in Afghanistan defending our freedom from this horrible act and for the families, esp. those who feel the pain like it was yesterday...

  3. I can't believe it's been seven years it still seems like just yesterday.
I'm so thankful for our Troops! God Bless Each and Everyone of Them.

  4. Thank you for you thoughtful post today.

I'm not going to lie... I live for comments. Nice ones that is.
