apparently i am late for wordless weds.

I know some folks don't let their kids play with toy guns. Obviously we are not those people.

  2. I think this is the first shot I've ever seen of his face. You make cute babies :-) I have to agree with Mrs SSgt - he'd get along well with Keenan. Extremely well. Love it!

  3. If you don't give them actual toy guns, they just use other things and pretend they're guns anyway. :)

This pic cracks me up - I imagine toy weapons are in my future as well, if we have boy(s). :)

  5. He looks like a total badass in this picture. Love it. I'm pretty sure that a toy like this is in the Captain's future, to prepare her for her real gun. LOL.

  6. Thanks for swinging by my blog :)

And btw, when I have kids, I hope they're half as cute as your son in that picture!

  7. How adorable!

When we were little we use to build toy guns out of Lego's and play cops and robbers.

And I didn't turn out too bad!

So I say let em play with it!

  8. yeah, you definitely are the opposite of "those people" (the ones who don't let their kids have toy guns).

  9. This pic is adorable.

I agree with Loqui- even if you don't give them guns they'll make believe with other things anyway. The number one rule in our preschool room is no play fighting or guns. The little rascals still try to pretend with fake hair dryers, curling irons, and even baby dolls!

  12. Hahahaha I love this picture! You wanna know the irony? My little kid (aka my hubby) requested this gun! Oh lord. I'll let you know how it goes during R&R! :)

  13. My MIL actually said to me when I was pregnant with #1, "If this one's a boy, can we please not let it play with guns." (She actually tried this with Stretch and his brother but their uncle gave them cap guns anyway) Yeah, right. Stretch is a Marine and we lived on a Marine base at the time. Good luck on not letting a boy play with toy guns in that environment!
