It was that kind of night.
Husband away, up at all hours, lots of tears and crying, big ol crocodile tears and hiccuping sobs if you must know and, all told, four hours of sleep.
Two before the crying and two after.
Get the baby down finally at 4 something and then dash 2 wakes up.
Good times folks good times.
I'm hoping, scratch that I'm praying, that today {and most especially tonight} is a better day.

But then again, I get to look at this all day how could it not be?

Those nights are never fun and I only have one to juggle and a snoring husband! (Did I just admit that publicly? LOL) Hope today goes better. And, yes, I agree - God made our little ones cute to make us smile again. Someday when they are teenagers, we'll be fussing for them to quit sleeping! ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't have babes yet. But I adopted a kitten last year and on several occasions ( like when he figured out how to open the bathroom cabinets and ate my makeup.) I seriously reconsidered adopting him. He still does crap like that, just not as often.
ReplyDeleteSo I sympathize with your sleepless nights. We are just really lucky our babies are cute.
Thats the same thing I tell my son... if he weren't so cute, I'd have gotten rid of him long ago :)
ReplyDeleteI hate those nights. Here is to hoping tonight is MUCH better. And yes, I always tell my kids Mother Nature knew what she was doing when she made little kids so dang cute. It's their only survival defense =D
ReplyDeletethose nights are the worst. and you are so right about them being cute as nature's defense to sleep deprived moms
ReplyDeleteThat's why babies in general are so cute =). If they weren't, the traveling gypsies could have them all!! Hope tonight is better.
ReplyDeleteAmen, sister! Lucky they are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you had such a rough night. I hope things are looking better by the light of day.
ReplyDeleteSorry the night was rough, but I echo Allison! I hope things are feeling better now that it's morning. Something about the morning is so much more optimistic than those lonely nights :)
ReplyDeleteI really hope your day went 100x's better!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like my night...but I only have the one. My other two are quite content in their kennels until they hear my moving around, and then if I get really quiet again they go back to sleep. I'm not sure how you do it with 3...
ReplyDeleteI thought I came to my wit's end...then my son gave his first smile. Wonderful isn't it? I hope today was better.
ReplyDeleteHope today is A LOT better than last night!
