    This is awesome! My grandfather was there (not for the re-enactment that the statue and picture was based on), and lost 4 brothers on Iwo Jima!

    This monument is simply astounding. Up close, it broke my heart. My family and I wept openly when we visited at Thanksgiving. Thanks for the reminder.
