the old blogo

Anyone out there go back and forth about letting their blog die off?

Anyone else finding that living life is getting in the way of blogging about it?

Anyone else figure that if their blog stopped tomorrow, no one would really even notice?

I think blogs come and go and mine right now might be at the point where it should just go.  I feel like I've written about everything I can think of.  I've made my views and opinions known, I've asked the burning questions that needed to be asked like whether we should stop wearing shorts once are knees start shifting south.

There was a point where I had a crap ton of ideas and energy to put into my blog and now I just feel .... eh.

Anyone else feel like this?

  1. I go back and forth about letting my blog die off. Sometimes I just don't have the creativity or willingness to blog that I used to have. I also wonder if anyone would even notice if my blog died off. Then something will happen where I'll post a new blog and I'll get lots of responses. That rejuvenates me for a bit.

  2. I would miss your blog..you write about real life. I either read your blog and chuckle or have tears or sometimes both. I know no one would miss mine because I only have a few followers, you on the other hand will be missed.
    I hope you continue,
    Cheerio for now

  3. I would miss it too. Sometimes I think I should give up. My comments have been way way down that what they use to be but I just keep at it. Not sure why other than I like to write.

  4. I would definitely miss your blog, but if you aren't feeling it then I think you should follow your gut. If you aren't happy doing something then you shouldn't do it, period! I hope you'll still tweet, though :)

  5. I guess I'm more dependent on my blog than most people. It helps me keep my sanity. Plus I've made some fantastic friends via blogging. I can't imagine walking away anytime in the near future. Of course, I also don't have a life :p So there is that.

At least we'll always have twitter, right?? ;)

  6. I have definitely thought about just giving it up. I don't think that anyone follows my blog and not that it really makes a difference, but some times it's nice to know that some one cares. I've been really busy with my baby so I some times think I need to refocus the blog or just give it up in general...

  10. I go back and forth a lot too. I love blogging and keeping a record of the girls, but it's so hard to find the time!

  11. Yeah I've been thinking about this a lot. I have tons of ideas to blog about, but I have three kids now and they tend to suck out all of my time and energy. Do what's best for you.

  12. I would miss your blog bc I miss you. I know your life has been busy so it makes sense to let it go but lately its the only way I know whats going on in your life. My girls miss the boys so much they ask about them all the time and I think more since they found out we will be close to you guys again. Hopefully when I move back to the area (or even before that) we can get together and catch up.

  15. It's about what it can do for you...it's nice have a place to vent, and to be able to go back and find info you need. But if doesn't do anything for you...don't let it be a burden.
